Case Study - Relocating Doctors
Relocating (UK) Ltd. came to Century Media to develop a website soley for the purpose of allowing doctors to advertise and rent or buy properties. The website features an administration area which allows members of staff to proof properties and users before they appear on the live site, this provides a safety net to make sure that only the correct information ever becomes visible
The site can be viewed by browsing to Relocating Doctors.
Case Study - Children's Commissioner for Wales
Century Media was approached to develop and deploy a bespoke intranet and database solution that could be used by members of staff dealing with children's issues in Wales. This came about after the need for such a system was outlined in the Bichard Report which took place in light of the failings over the Soham murders.
The project was developed using PHP and MySQL technologies running on a Unix platform. The system was designed to be accessible via a web browser to make it easy for staff to access the system from remote locations.
Case Study - Win-That-Car
The brief for this project was to produce a system capable of managing a competition that would be running in Cardiff International Airport. Entrants would be able to win a car by selecting where they thought a football was in a specific scene showed to them, their entry was logged in a database and when it came to the final draw the system would work out which entrant was the closest to where the actual ball was using an algorithm.
This system featured an extensive administration area which allowed for the management of the current and new competitions.
